When did you start playing?

Not sure? Your oldest Battle Pass or the first skin you bought usually tells you.

Battle Passes you bought

Tap every season whose Battle Pass you owned. Seasons before your start are greyed out. Hover a season to see its pass skins.

What makes a Fortnite account OG?

"OG" is how players describe accounts that have been around since the early days of Fortnite, before the game became the giant it is today. There's no official definition, but most players agree on three signs: when you started, which Battle Passes you owned, and whether you have items that new players can't get. This Fortnite OG account checker turns those three things into a score from 0 to 100.

    How the OG score works

    1. Start season (up to 40 points). Starting in Chapter 1 is worth 30 to 40 points, with the earliest seasons scoring highest. Chapter 2 starts are worth 18 to 25, Chapter 3 starts 10 to 15, and later chapters a few points.
    2. Battle Passes (up to 30 points). Every Chapter 1 pass adds 4 points, Chapter 2 passes 2, Chapter 3 passes 1 and later passes half a point. Battle Pass rewards can't be bought after their season, which is what makes old passes such strong proof.
    3. Rare items (up to 25 points). We take the collector score of your rarest item: every point above 50 adds 0.4, so an item scoring 100 adds 20. Each extra item scoring 80 or more adds one more point, up to 5.
    4. Extras (up to 5 points). 3 for a Save the World Founder's Pack and 2 for a Twitch Prime pack, both from the early years.

OG score = start season + Battle Passes + rare items + extras (maximum 100)

    The OG levels

    LevelOG scoreTypical account
True OG85–100Started in early Chapter 1, owned most Chapter 1 passes and has some extremely rare items
OG70–84Chapter 1 player with several early passes or very rare skins
Veteran50–69Late Chapter 1 or early Chapter 2 start with a good run of passes
Seasoned30–49Chapter 2 or 3 player, or an early start without many passes
    Regular15–29A few years in
Fresh Spawn0–14Recently started: everyone begins here

    Worked example

A player started in Chapter 1, Season 4 (37 points), bought the Battle Pass in Seasons 4 to 8 of Chapter 1 (5 × 4 = 20 points) and owns a skin with a collector score of 88 (15.2 points). That's 72 points: an OG account. Adding a Twitch Prime pack would make it 74.

Don't fall for "OG account checker" scams

Some sites and Discord bots ask you to log in with your Epic account to "check" how OG it is. Don't. That's one of the most common ways accounts get stolen. This checker never asks for your login: it only uses what you choose on this page. Buying or selling OG accounts is against Epic's Terms of Service, and Epic disables accounts that change hands.

Want the numbers behind your locker? The account value calculator shows what it would cost in the Item Shop, and skins by season lists every Battle Pass since Chapter 1, Season 1.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I check if my Fortnite account is OG?
Look at when you started and what you own from then. Accounts that started in Chapter 1, bought early Battle Passes and own skins that haven't been in the Item Shop for years are the most OG. This checker turns those three things into a score from 0 to 100.
What counts as an OG Fortnite account?
Most players call an account OG if it started in Chapter 1 (2017 to 2019) and has items from that time, such as early Battle Pass skins or rare Item Shop skins that rarely return. Our True OG level needs a Chapter 1 start plus early passes or very rare items.
Does the OG checker need my Epic login?
No. You choose your start season, passes and items yourself. Never give your Epic login to any account checker: it is the most common way accounts get stolen.
How is the OG score calculated?
Up to 40 points come from your start season (earlier is higher), up to 30 from early Battle Passes (Chapter 1 passes count most), up to 25 from your rarest items' collector scores, and a few bonus points for Save the World Founder's packs and Twitch Prime packs. The full breakdown is shown with your result.
Can I sell an OG account?
No. Buying, selling or trading accounts is against Epic's Terms of Service and Epic disables accounts that change hands. The OG score is for bragging rights only.
